I was born into a family that had already built a reputation of trust through the Lalchnd brand. My father, who started it all, enjoyed incredible goodwill in Bhubaneswar with his Lalchnd and Sons departmental store. His work ethics, clarity of thought and unlimited reservoir of resilience taught me the meaning of responsibility. His uncompromising principles became the foundation on which I shaped my leadership style. Watching him navigate the changing times and evolving customer needs prepared me for a future where I would carry the Lalchnd legacy forward. Father’s actions and decision-making style made for my first leadership lessons that were invaluable for the birth and growth of Lalchnd Jewellers as Odisha’s best jewellery brand. The discipline he instilled in me and my brothers still guides my daily life as an influential entrepreneur in Odisha.

We never let anyone in the organisation forget that our jewellery artisans are the magicians that make Lalchnd Jewellers shine. I make sure my retail employees and management staff watch our artisans at work just so they can all appreciate the effort that goes into making Lalchnd boast the finest and widest range of jewellery in eastern India. No machine can match the care, patience, and meticulousness with which our artisans work. Their commitment has taught me that single-mindedness and unwavering focus are critical to becoming a top businessman in India or anywhere else for that matter.

Each of them has a unique mix of taste and reason when it comes to buying jewellery. They show me how jewellery is tied to emotions, moments, and memories. Their trust is our greatest currency.
